ÖZ

Sağlıklı olmak ve olası en iyi sağlık hizmetine ulaşmak, insanlığın en öncelikli ihtiyacı ve hakkıdır. Kişi ve bireylerin sağlık durumunu belirleyen önemli konulardan birisi tıbbi işlemlerde, akıl yürütme ve karar verme süreçlerinin bilimsel temellerle yürütülmesidir. İnsanların akıl yürütme ve karar verme süreçlerinde bulunan “bias” (yanlı olma), “confounding” (karıştırıcı faktörler) gibi etkenlerin dikkate alınmasının yararlı olması beklenir. Ayrıca tıptaki belirsizlikler ve bu belirsizliklerin azaltılması için gerekli olan doğru düşünme yöntemleri ve Bayes kuramı ile kanıta dayalı tıp gibi daha sağlıklı bilgi edinme ve bilgileri kullanma yöntemleri aracılığıyla, sağlıklı olma sürecine katkı sağlanabilir. Hasta hekim ilişkisinin tüm aşamalarında kullanılan bilimsel yaklaşımın, tanı-tedavi süreçlerini hasta yararına geliştirmeye katkı sağlaması da beklenmelidir. Sağlık işlemlerinde akıl yürütme, karar alma ve bilimsel süreçlerin geliştirilmesi, insan ve toplum sağlığına önemli katkı sağlama potansiyeli taşımaktadır. 

ABSTRACT

Being healthy and accessing the best possible health care is humanity's primary need and right. One of the important issues that determine the health status of individuals and individuals is the scientific basis of reasoning and decision-making processes in medical procedures. Bias found in people's reasoning and decision-making processes; Considering factors such as confounding factors is expected to be useful. In addition, the process of being healthy can be contributed to the process of being healthy through the uncertainties in medicine and the correct thinking methods required to reduce these uncertainties, and healthier methods of obtaining and using information such as Bayesian theory and evidence-based medicine. It should also be expected that the scientific approach used at all stages of the patient-physician relationship will contribute to improving the diagnosis-treatment processes for the benefit of the patient. The development of reasoning, decision-making and scientific processes in healthcare operations has the potential to make a significant contribution to human and public health.
